The Refugee Art Project in association with The Sydney Society for Literature and Aesthetics

The aim of this conference is to foster greater dialogue concerning refugees and asylum seekers in Australia. Papers cover a wide range of topics, including law and policy, history, social justice and human rights, questions of Diaspora and national identity, mental health, literature and aesthetics, and refugee advocacy. This will be a unique opportunity to enhance academic cooperation for the study of refugee and asylum seeker issues.
The conference will be held in conjunction with an exhibition of original artworks by asylum seekers from detention.
