Life In Limbo Exhibition 2012

Life in Limbo

are proud to bring  to the UTS Tower Building in Sydney this July.

Life in Limbo follows from last year’s highly successful fear+hope exhibition and will showcase new works from current and former detainees of Australia’s detention centers.

The exhibition will feature inspiring artworks by asylum seekers from such countries as Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Burma and Pakistan. We have gathered works from numerous detention centres across the country, which reflect the diverse talents of our contributors.

Our guest speakers for the opening ceremony on the 5 July will be Green’s Senator Lee Rhiannon and Sydney Morning Herald cartoonist Alan Moir.

City Campus, 5 minutes from Central Station
Date: 3 – 27 July
Open days and times: Every day of the week, 10 -5pm
Opening night: 5 July, 5:30 – 8pm

The exhibition will be followed by the Life in Limbo forum, an invaluable opportunity to discuss the issues addressed in the exhibition.

An exhibition in Melbourne will be held in October. Details coming soon!
