The portraits in this gallery are the result of Refugee Art Project volunteers and asylum seekers in the Villawood detention centre drawing each other. During our art workshops, it is common for one person to hold a pose whilst everyone else tries to draw that person. These drawings are a visual record of the people we have met in detention and the friendships that have resulted.
